On Tuesday, we set out to explore our senses in the Realm of Sentient Being. Right away, we were drawn to a large round table with a peculiar little figure in the middle, around which we could try out all five senses. We tried to recognize different herbs by their scent and guess what materials we were touching.
However, what caught Lucka’s attention the
most was the theremin – a musical instrument that produces strange, almost
unpleasant sounds resembling a scream.
We also tested our reaction skills. We stood
in front of a wall with several red buttons and had to press the one surrounded
by a glowing ring as quickly as possible. At first, we weren’t very good at it,
but after a while, we got the hang of it.
We really enjoyed this exhibition. Not only
did we get to experience how our senses work, but we also enjoyed ourselves
along the way.

Nejvíc ale Lucku zaujalo
theremin – hudební nástroj, který vydával zvláštní, až nepříjemné zvuky
připomínající křik.
Vyzkoušely jsme si také
naši reakční schopnost. Stouply jsme si před stěnu s několika červenými
tlačítky a měly jsme co nejrychleji zmáčknout to, u kterého se rozsvítil
kroužek. Ze začátku nám to moc nešlo, ale po chvíli jsme se do toho dostaly.
Celá tato expozice nás
moc bavila. Nejenže jsme si mohly vyzkoušet, jak naše smysly fungují, ale
zároveň to bylo zábavné.
